10 k skate race on the trails of the Willoughby State Forest
At 2000' in the Willoughby State Forest, this venue has not failed to provide the white stuff for a scheduled race in it's entire 18 year history!  


1/2/2010  Skiers arrived to light snow, mid-20's and perfect skate conditions. 
By the time the masters went off, the trail was holding up well but winds had picked up and the temp dropped to 19. Jessie Downs skiing for the U.S. Army, and Dorcas Wonsavage for Ford Sayre were winners.

Mt Hor Hop 12-30-2007
2007 Mt Hor Hop went off on perfect, lightning fast condidtions with over 3 feet of base. - 
 

MSTF was happy to enter into an agreement with Stan Swain and the state of Vermont to provide ongoing grooming for the season, so come on up and enjoy!

Directions
From the south
: Exit I-91 in Lyndonville/Burke, proceed north on Rt 5, then take Route 5A north from West Burke. Use Parking Lot for the Mt Pisgah South Trail, 1/4 mile south of Lake Wiloughby. Walk or ski up the CCC road heading west from the lot; main ski trails start at the top of the hill. 
From the North: Exit I-91 east at Derby Center, proceed east on Rt 105. Just past West Charleston, turn right on Rt 5A, continue South to 1/4 mi past Lake Willoughby to parking at CCC Road (as above).
